Who is This For?

EmpowHERed is designed for women who are not just dreamers but doers. If you:

Are between the ages of 21 and 45 and identify as female
Are Nigerian or a resident of Nigeria
Have 1–5 years of experience in a creative industry (as a freelancer, entrepreneur, or employee)
Own or are building a creative business or project
Have a vision for growth and want to scale your impact and income
Are committed to learning, collaboration, and giving back

A Redefining 4-Phase Journey

This program is not just about skill-building, it’s about real-world impact. Over several months, you’ll go through four phases that have been carefully designed for your success:

PHASE 1: FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING (8 Weeks)

Master your craft and understand the business side of creativity. Topics include:

Industry-Specific Training – You’ll learn the basics and advanced knowledge of your chosen field – fashion, film, music, digital media, creative technology etc.
Business Fundamentals – You’ll learn how to structure your business, create a pricing strategy, and protect your intellectual property.
Digital Marketing & Monetization – You’ll be taught how to build your brand, grow on social media, and turn content into income.
Financial Literacy – You’ll learn how to create and manage budgets, forecast revenue, and explore funding options.

PHASE 2: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & GROWTH (6 Weeks)

Learn how to scale your business and position it for long-term success. Topics include:

Market Expansion & Brand Growth – You’ll learn how to enter new markets and build a strong brand identity.
Investment Readiness – You’ll be taught the mechanics behind securing funding, attracting investors, and managing business valuation.
Operational Excellence – You’ll learn how to build better teams, increase productivity, and optimize your business processes.

PHASE 3: MENTORSHIP & INDUSTRY ACCESS (3 Months, Ongoing)

Your network is your net worth. In this phase, you get access to:

One-on-One Mentorship – This gives you access to learn directly from top industry leaders in your field.
Guest Speaker Series – This builds your exposure and network while providing the opportunity to gain insights from renowned creatives and entrepreneurs.
Internships & Apprenticeships – We’ll also provide hands-on experience to practice all you’ve learned with established brands and industry pioneers.

PHASE 4: POST-TRAINING SUPPORT & CAREER ACCELERATION (Ongoing for 1 Year)

Our commitment is not only to your immediate success but also to your longevity. We ensure long-term growth through:

Business Showcase Events – This gives you access to pitch your brand to investors and organizations looking to back creative businesses.
Alumni Accelerator Program – We’ll be providing continuous support for the scaling and sustainability of your business ventures.

How to Apply

The selection process is designed to find women who are passionate and ready to commit. Here’s how it works:

Submit an Online Application – Tell us about your background, experience, and goals.
Portfolio or Business Proposal Review – Show us your creative work or business idea.
Interview & Pitch Session – Shortlisted candidates will be required to pitch to a selection panel.
Final Selection & Onboarding – 60 outstanding women will be chosen for this year’s cohort.
